Location and History

Paramount Private Members’ Club occupies the top three floors of one of London’s iconic high rise landmarks, Centre Point. Centre Point was one of the first skyscrapers in London when it was completed in 1967 by Richard Seifert.  Rising 385 feet above London, Centre Point gained an increasingly notorious reputation as the building continued to remain empty for almost twenty years, must to the consternation of the public.

After receiving Grade II listing in 1995 and following a recent change of ownership, Centre Point now stands fully occupied.  The Fine Art Commission has praised the building as having an ‘elegance worthy of a Wren steeple.’ Paramount opened in November 2008 and is now the jewel in Centre Point’s crown.

Interior

Accessed via a private external staircase on New Oxford Street, members and their guests are carried by 3 high-speed lifts to the club, which occupies the top 3 floors of the building.

Level 31 – Events Space
The entire floor is dedicated to private functions, and is available to members and non-members for product launches, private lunches and dinners, screenings, award ceremonies, drinks receptions, seminars and meetings.

Level 32 – Members Bar, Lounge and Restaurant
A stylishly designed area where members and their guests can drink, dine and entertain.

Level 33 – Viewing Gallery
A 360 degree champagne and cocktail bar with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Spaces for Hire

Level 31 is a self-contained 4,550 sq ft space designed to the highest standard by renown British designer Tom Dixon.  Windows the full length of the West and East sides offer stunning views of London throughout the day and night.

Level 31 is licensed to hold wedding ceremonies for up to 200 guests.  Once the service is over, the space can hold up to 160 guests for the wedding breakfast and 300 for a standing reception.  An advanced Turbosound system and 24 hour license allows dancing until dawn!

Their viewing gallery on Level 33 has floor-to -ceiling windows and makes for stunning photographic opportunities for the bridal party.

When you book your wedding at Paramount you will be assigned a dedicated wedding planner who will guide you through the preparations, and make sure every aspect of your day runs smoothly.
