Character: Situated in 32 stunning acres of sporting fields and woodland, the Bank of England Sports Centre is an outstanding example of a great English tradition; the English Sports Club.

Funky Features: This wedding venue provides a taste of the country close to the City and just next door to Richmond Park. Non-members now have the opportunity to hire this unique venue which maintains a special atmosphere of tradition and comfort with a contemporary twist.

Location and History

Founded in 1908, the land formed part of the Clarence House Estate which was once home to the Duke of Clarence.  The Club is located next door to Richmond Park, 18 minutes from Waterloo by train and 10 minutes form the A3 and A4. 

Interior and Spaces for Hire

Nestling in 32 acres of award winning grounds, non-members now have the opportunity to hire this unique venue .

Bank of England Sports Centre are licensed for civil ceremonies and have a range of rooms to cater for up to 250 guests. Your guests may have the opportunity to watch a spot of cricket or tennis throughout your special day or perhaps take a stroll around the grounds before the festivities begin.

The Green Room is situated on the first floor of the Pavilion with a private balcony overlooking the grounds. This space is tranquil licensed for civil ceremonies.

The Balcony bar is also on the first floor of the pavilion with 2 private balconies, its own bar and windows along one wall overlooking the grounds.  Perfect for a smaller party or a drinks reception.
The Terrace Room is a stunning setting for your wedding. A beautifully finished room featuring glass panoramic windows with your own picket fenced lawn allowing your guests to overlook and enjoy the view of our stunning grounds.  A professional P A , pin spot lighting, air con and heating, chequered dance-floor and simple but stylish integrated bar completes the facilities. The spacious terraces and lawns provide a fabulous backdrop for photos.
